HAZAMA ANDO CORPORATION has acquired Air Digital K.K., one of the companies selected for HAZAMA ANDO New Business Cocreation Program 2022(Note1), conducted as part of its efforts to realize the HAZAMA ANDO VISION2030 long-term vision.
As a startup venture business, this past April Air Digital K.K. opened Sports 60 & Smart(Note2) as one of Japan's largest digital sports clubs at Ario Washinomiya, a large-scale commercial complex in Kuki City, Saitama. In addition to promoting digital sports, the company also aims to build a frailty prevention program(Note3) that is unprecedented in Japan to utilize digital sports as a means of solving the societal challenge of maintaining health and preventing frailty among the elderly.
HAZAMA ANDO invested the funding required to build the Frailty Prevention Program and change the store’s layout, and will leverage its network to provide across-the-board support.
Along with further strengthening the construction business, HAZAMA ANDO will accelerate efforts targeting businesses beyond construction in order to reinforce its earnings foundation.

Frailty Prevention Program
"Frailty" refers to the stage between being healthy and requiring nursing care, and tends to occur with age. Frailty consists of physical elements (decreased muscle strength, etc.), mental and psychological elements (dementia, depression, etc.), and social elements (solitude, economic hardship, etc.), so programs intended to prevent these have attracted attention in recent years.
